Be Who You Are

To be who you are is not to fake your existence. Each of us is unique, with unique flaws and gifts. The world doesn’t owe us a living; we owe the world a living, our very own. Let’s figure this out together.

No, this is not about Hallmark cards for Valentine’s Day, nor anything like the Beatles’ song “Love Love Love”… So, who, what, and where? The Hebrew Bible, Jesus, the Buddha, Karen Armstrong, and Martin Luther King, Jr. And by the way, can you forgive your enemies?

Bio:

Rev. Carole Yorke has been a Unitarian Universalist minister in Florida since 1998. She served several churches in Florida, including the  First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Palm Beaches, up to her retirement in 2013. She continues to guest preach around Florida, from Gainesville to Miami, and fairly often for her home church, First Unitarian Church of Plainfield, NJ, thanks to Zoom.  She lives in Port St Lucie with her three Pomeranians.
