Registration for “March to End Modern Slavery in the Fields” is now open.

On April 2, Unitarian Universalists from around Florida will join with justice workers from other faith traditions as well as Immokalee workers, their families, and other consumer allies in a march in West Palm Beach.

This march will bring the fight for farmworkers’ fundamental human rights the Chairman of the Board of of Wendy’s Restaurants and hedge fund billionaire Nelson Peltz.

1stUUPB is working with other UU’s to coordinate our actions. We are in the planning stages of how helpful our congregation can be to support this effort beyond participation in the march itself.
