We learned of the recent passing of one of this congregation’s early members, Alexander (Alex) Wallace Dreyfoos Jr.. He died early Sunday morning May 28, 2023. He was 91 at the time of his death.
Mr. Dreyfoos was described in a front page article in the Tuesday, May 30, 2023 edition of the Palm Beach Post as a “cultural icon whose legacy includes a performance hall at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and a high school named in his honor”.
He was integral in the building of our current First Unitarian Universalist Congregation’s campus and an active member of the congregation in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.
