Election Week Schedule Additions, Deletions and Changes Events
November 3, 4, 5 & 6
This week is a big week, but it is also a stressful week.  No matter how the election results, some of us may feel more tension next week than a regular week.  As your faith home, we want to provide you opportunities to work through your tension, to be with people in your community and to be spiritually well during the week.  For that reason, we’ve put together these resources for you during this time which are in addition to or replacing our normal weekly programming.  Please check the calendar.

Tuesday:  Tea-Ology will be cancelled so that Reverend Ed can provide a pastoral presence at our polling site.

Tuesday:  Timely Topics for Tough Times:  How Can a  Divided America Heal:

Reverend Ed invites you to join your friends and fellow community members to discuss the election progress or results.  These times may be tough or they may be joyful…either way, our work as a faith community begins anew.

Thursday:   Stress Reduction Techniques with Bonnie Cohen
Bonnie Cohen, a member of our congregation and social worker with a career of training in stress reduction techniques will lead a workshop focused on how we’ve experienced the past 8 months culminating in the election this week.   The format is a mix of education, coping skills, and some simple mind body exercises.

Thursday: Theology on Tap will be cancelled to allow time to attend the UU the Vote Vigil.
Teaching Thursday (Nature or Nurture) will be moved to next week (October 12)
