Here at 1stUUPB, some of us are big doers. Some are big thinkers. If our thinking is divorced from our doing, we can end up spinning our spiritual hamster wheels and burning out our volunteers.
Jim Hennigan, of Greenville, SC, is a 7th generation Unitarian with an asterisk as he was raised Catholic. He serves in several leadership positions at the Greenville (SC) UU Fellowship, including the past three years on the Leadership Development Committee, as a Co-Coordinator of Covenant Circles and as the coordinator for the K-3 Spirit Play children’s religious education curriculum. He’s been active on racial and LGBTQ+ justice initiatives in Greenville and as a project of his Beloved Conversations class, he has helped launch GOAL-Justice this year, which is Greenville’s equivalent to Palm Beach’s PEACE (both are DART affiliates).
