Please bring a stone to service. A stone communion ritual uses gathered stones to mark the path alone which a faith community travels together. It expresses that every person entering the community changes and is changed by it. We begin this church year by bringing stones, marking the regathering of this congregation.

Without the heroism of a chosen few, we wouldn’t be free here in America. This is a day to pause and recognize the great price that has been paid and to show our national pride and gratefulness for those who have paid so very much.
