We’re happy to announce that author Donna Gephart will be joining us on Zoom for a Q&A of her book Lily & Dunkin!

Lily and Dunkin is a young adult novel by Donna Gephart that follows two teenagers—Lily, a transgender girl, and Dunkin, a boy dealing with bipolar disorder—through their final year of middle school. The novel’s dual narrative creates a heartfelt story that addresses the trials of adolescent friendship, gender identity, bullying, mental health, and the importance of respecting (and being respected by) friends and family. Plus, it’s set in South Florida so it’s fun to read and see what locations they mention and describe what living in Florida is like!

Pick up a free copy of the book in our Buuk Nuuk or at Compass LGBTQ+ Center in Lake Worth Beach. Questions? Contact David Traupman.
